Karen Roll is an oil painter living in Great Falls, Va.  Her favorite subject is landscape where she explores light and shadow and the play of colors in nature.  She has been inspired by locations from Florida to Virginia as well as the West Coast.  She has studied at the Art League in Alexandria and continues to develop her art through classes and workshops.  Her paintings are in private collections on both coasts.
